These tires are definitely worth trying out. I bought these last year around the end of july for my 2003 Honda RC51. They are more than adequate for street riding. As far as wet weather riding I spent 7 hours riding from Plattsburg NY to buffalo NY during a horrible rain storm coming up from the left over topical hurricane Isaias. I decided to take a trip across the state and was caught in the middle of it all day. Not one issue as far as grip. heavy rain all day and average speeds around 40 - 60 mph without a worry. The heavy torque of my bike didn't effect tire wear too much. out of the 11,000 miles i put on my bike last year 5500 were on this tire. Im sure i could squeeze another 1000 out of them but im going to replace them as of now with the same tire. do take caution as these will get a bit squirrelly on you until they are heated up. sub 50 degrees i would wait a few miles before opening up as unless you like getting sideways lol. once heated up I felt comfortable getting down in the corners. The only other option i was considering was the pirelli angel GT. but since im tearing the bike down to maintenance and upgrade items now, ill go with these for a cheaper price.

Riding a Kawasaki Versys-650,... I got over 9,000 miles out of my Roadsport 2 rear tire. The front has over 10,000 miles on it now, and it's still good ! I've decided to buy another set. 💪🙂👍

I have a Suzuki GSX650F, and I tried something different... I'm running a Dunlop Roadsport 2 front tire, and a Dunlop Roadsmart III rear tire. 120/70/17 front, and 160/60/17 rear. Both just crossed over 1,000 miles of not very hard daily riding, with some slightly above the speed limit twisties on the weekends, and they both still look like newer tires. They have been great for me.

I must be the exception to the rule, I bought a new 2022 GSXS1000GT with these tires on it stock. I have 1,200 miles on them and the rear is almost done. Mabey another 400 miles and that was during a 600-mile break in period no more than 6,000 rpm. The handling is fine but the only tire I have owned that had less life is the Continental Road Attack. I got just about 1,000 miles on a rear on my Aprilia V4. If you ride a big displacement bike spend the money and get better tires.

I've got the same bike and put on RoadSmart IV's with not much better mileage. Bought a Yamaha XSR900 and got much better mileage. I think the GSXS1000 blows apart tires. The solution I arrived at was to buy a Rabaconda tire changer, buy my tires online when there's a sale, and accept that tires are an expensive consumable that is just part of riding. So far, after going through a great variety of tires, I've sort of settled on the Metzeler M9RR as a durable track day tire that also lasts pretty long on the street, with the understanding that you cannot accelerate nor brake very hard on these tires due to their dual compound nature. You have to be leaned over quite a bit as their centers are rock-hard.

I have a set of Roadsmart II on my bike now. Idk what this guy is talking about, maybe he's talking about track days, cause I've never tracked my bike before. But they are some great everyday tires. Maybe he's just trying to push the more expensive stuff, but I promise you, you wont be disappointed. (I ride a 07 Triumph Tiger Sport 1050cc) I have 7650 miles on these tires, I should get an easy 800 more out the back, the front has plenty of tread. My last set of tires were the Conti's Motions, decent tire for the money as well, life was kinda weak and cold day warm ups took a minute. But the Roadsmart II is a great buy, I'm in the mountains at least once a month, ripping some curves. Fast warm ups, long distant comfort, what more do you need?

I have these tires on my Katana. I am surprised by the longevity advertised by some pilots here. I have less than 3000 miles and the rear tire needs to be changed. The front tyre will have to be replaced soon. It is an original assembly, I did the prowl with these tires, so at a fairly calm pace. Otherwise I confirm that they are very good tires, which heat up quite quickly, and which make the bike precise and easy to put on the angle.

I just worn out a set of these on my Street Triple RS and he is not right about the grip. These tires can be pushed really hard and do have the grip to sustain the most aggressive road riding.
