Its a really rough with just the 4 stars., The problem is that they can only detonate the dot of their specific element and they are not as consistent as kafka (+ kafka detonates every dot, not just shock), which is why they are paired with her. BS is a bit of an exception since she has 5 star mechanics with 5 star damage, so kafka isn't a must for her, but she does boost swan's damage output by a lot

Uhhhh last time that I played gold and gear I use just sampo and black swan at conundrum10 with nihility. The Dot damage are super crazy but the thing that surprise me is my phone crash because the Dot damage.😅😅😅

Spd boots is generally better as it can help you reach speed breakpoints. 134, 160 spd for example.

Black Swan is built like every other DoT character So SPD boots are optimal

Just use Atk in both Orb and rope, and spd in boots.

If you are using her (Blackswan) with Ruan Mei, then Atk% orb. And aim for 152+ Speed, obviously for that you need SPD boots. With this she'll go before Kafka. If your Kafka is E0S1, then get her (Kafka's) Speed between 137-140, if E0, then get 150, below BS obviously.

Huo can be subs by any other healer like lynx, and ruanmei can be subs by def res reduction nihility like pela or sampo c4. Even guinafen is good cuz firekiss

This is most likely in the Gold and Gears mode of SU. The first boss allows you to inflict an elemental weakness on the final boss. Or he might have the Punklorde item that gives a weakness for a few turns.
