Durable Tire Inflator/Compressor from 2 Stroke Engine

2 жыл бұрынThis tire inflator made from old grass cutter engine. This is much more durable than cheap plastic compressors. Also, those cheap inflators cannot fill a tire over 25psi. With digital pressure gauge, tire s can be inflated to correct pressure. Most cheap analog gauges do not indicate aproximate values.

That’s good fun :) well done! The oil is an issue in a 2 stroke, you need the lubricity in the engine, but with a 2 stroke it will also go into the tyre. Would a 4 stroke be better here maybe?

Awesome idea, but you need to introduce oil into the air intake in order to lubricate the piston/cylinder. Also, how did you close off the exhaust/intake (whichever one you were not using)?

this is a two stroke engine - not four so the piston movement closes the intake by its movement and proceeds to pressure the mix before the spark kicks in

Yes. I added them before assembling. I don't think i will need oil that much compared to when engine is actually runninng. I'm going to add them from times to time.

What is direction of rotation clockwise or anti clockwise

Direction doesn't matter acctualy. But better to rotate it natural engine rotation direction.
