For anybody wondering, the Duramax weighs about 1000lbs with all accessories, and the Allison 1K weighs about 350lbs, so combo weighs about 1300-1400 lbs. A Small block & automatic weighs about 760lbs all together. Getting ready to put an LMM/1K combo into my wife's 80 Suburban, nice work!

Heck yeah, We are about finished with our lml swapped 79’ f250. Hopefully will get to turn it on by end of this week.

That’s awesome! I haven’t seen a dmax swapped classic Ford. Post a picture if you have one! Also, who did you go with for your tune/stand alone?

Hey Travis, no unfortunately I did not shoot a ton of video during the trans work.. mostly because I have no idea of what magic is going on inside of that thing 😂

What are you lifting the engine with? What’s connected to the motor?

It’s a lift plate that is designed to bolt up where the turbo pedestal bolts in. It’s 1/2” thick plate with a 5/8” eye bolt.. super strong. Can’t remember where I got it from but if you search online you’ll find it.
