You’ll be running down Commodores in no time with that engine with a little love.. I’ve owned a few Duramaxes over the years and each one of them was way more power than I NEEDED but the foot/smoke/whistle ratio made them ridiculously fun!

The attention to detail on that sound deadening install. 👌 Proper mate. Dafuq, TB48 Patrols are rare in Australia. 😳 Meanwhile 70% of the Patrols for sale where I live is TB48. Though there are not a lot for sale, but there is a fair bit on the road. That first pull away sound is just amazing. Not words for it.... well there is 2 but I'm not going to mention them.

It’s gonna be the trans fluid would be my guess because it has to fill up the torque converter and if it detects low level of fluid it goes limp mode to protect the trans

TB48 shifter not so! You can use a Mitsubishi Magna, it pulls a cable as well as tip tronic, millions of them in wrecked Magna's, that nobody wants. And cheap at $60. Looks similar, mounts similar and is idea for yank transmissions that use a cable.
