That's a real man's truck and you used ever gen parts off of almost every GMC/chevy gmt400 gmt800 gmt900 K2XX truck for a 73-87 series and i bet that sucker can haul at least 3 Ford superduties💪

Beautiful swap! Also beautiful truck! I’d love to see more on the trans mounting and motor mounts for some ideas. I’m about to tackle this in an obs dually in air. I haven’t got it gutted for a test fit yet but hoping to do that next month.

Incredibly nice K30 DRW. I would love to have my dually as clean as this one. Only thing is I prefer to have my 4x4's with 4WD ;)

FLSTF87 we were running it without the front drive shaft at this time. It was put in about a week after this video was shot. ;)

Dammmm that's beyond awesome! I the only thing I'd change is the exhaust and have it behind the rear tire and not hide it other then that it's perfect!!!

If you don't mind me asking I have the same truck only it's rear wheel dually and I was wondering do you have to cut any particular part of the frame far as engine bay for the the swap to work I love this set up

Fixing all hiccups on the 07 classic bowtie myself, no issues with engine or trans. Will be getting 285, 305, 33" on the 17" wheels, get a FF rear, call this truck a C2000

Do you remember the length of the rear driveshaft? I've got an 84 whit a 6'' lift and need to up-size and convert the shaft but am being told it's too long to make a 1 pc. Also any weird vibes with this shaft?

Can't have a one peice because it needs the slip yoke and carrier bearing, i do believe.

Yes it works. It’s a stand-alone unit for the engine and transmission and factory installed sensors for gages to work.
