My first DD concert was 1993 Atlanta and I can attest that they have always been a superior live band that has consistently gotten better every year and what we get today is truly amazing! CHEERS!

It was a dream coming true. This is my story; I have travelled all the way from Rome, Italy, 1800 km by car and by ferry, to see them in their hometown. DD are my musical heritage from when I was a girl, back then I could have never afford it, nor would I have obtained permission from my parents to attend…I have been patiently waiting for this day, keeping my love for the band in that part of my heart that never has changed- and never will. Going to their show was my way to thank them for all the good time they have been giving me ever since, with their music and energy. I tell you, when I pulled the hand break in the venue’s parking lot I was in joyful tears like 40 years ago.

I'm fairly certain I was not paying attention to how well JT played his bass when I was 13. I probably didn't know the bass guitar was what making the delightful sounds I grew to dig the most in music! I do appreciate the skill and art he produces. He's good. And he's still 🔥

I been lucky enough to see Duran Duran five times in concert. Musically and vocally this was them at their best. Simon Lebon in a video recorded recently said his voice was the best it had ever been and that his voice has improved with age.

Certainly Simon's voice has aged better than many of his contemporaries such as Dave Gahan of Depeche Mode. Perhaps he's had some lessons.

Traveled from the US to see the 5 shows in the UK and it was magical to be in the front and see myself with my blonde hair bouncing all over dancing.. That was fun to watch this so thanks for posting.. I wish you could have gotten save a prayer as when Simon threw his pick me and a girl were fighting for it and Simon said you are bad! 🤣 ohh it was funny.. The lights from the crowd during Save a Prayer was one of the most beautiful I've seen in 19 years following this band.. What a night..it was an honor to be there and got to check off this DD show off my bucket list 😍🙌

Thank you to whomever filmed and posted this. Unfortunately, this is as close to a Duran Duran performance as I'm going to get this year. I hoped to see the band in Austin or Dallas, but my husband has been diagnosed with early onset dementia and is not doing well. He's only Simon's age. So sad. I enjoyed this so much! Bless you all.

Just back from there concert in Dublin.. Ireland what a performance.. If not the best one of the best concerts I've ever seen.. And I've seen a hell of a lot... Unbelievable live band

The Dublin set list is identical to the Birmingham show above. I have been to other Duran Duran tours and other bands, but I believe this show resonated with the audience so well because they played so many single and album tracks from our childhoods. We knew those tracks inside out from having played those albums over and over in the pre internet age and it was nirvana to our souls to hear them played so well (and live) again.

Yes I also have Arena on Vinyl and boxed in the loft somewhere the VHS of the concert. I had seen from previous set lists of this tour, that they played The Reflex and I joked to my wife that I hope they have a similar effect of the waterfall falling on the audience (I believe this was a post production effect for the song video originally). Well it wasn’t quite the same, but I’m sure the falling blue blocks on the video screen during this part of the concert was homage to the video.

I was lucky enough to catch The Cure in concert last year and any band that can keep the audience eating / singing out of the palm of their hands fully engaged for 2 and 1/2 hours is by definition legendary. Robert Smith did lose his voice towards the end, but it was a packed tour schedule and as said a 2 & 1/2 hour set. why for one they tours are the shortest in terms of time compared to other bands only 1 hour 39 mins for a ticket price of anything of 350 dollars up to 800 thats crazy not worth it anymore.

I read that the Band aren’t great fans of My Own Way expressing surprise that it charted higher than Skin Trade (which is one of my favourite tracks). My Own Way and The Sound of Thunder were both last played live in 2007.

Thankyou for posting this video for us!-i am a long-time Duranie-i was hit by the Duran Duran thunderbolt around the time of "Hungry Like the Wolf"+🐺⚡+have never recovered+,I am all good with that!😄-i have watched every gig that I can whether it be live or on TV/DVD+I am very intrigued by those Brum Boyz shaking up the playlist-"Last Chance on the Stairway"is one of my faves on "Rio"+that is saying something as that album is just perfection-lucky you to everyone who heard it live-i am green with envy but in a good way!💚-what a lifetime of Love+great memories they have given us all-may they continue forever!😄👍👏

Thankyou Rob for downloading the concert onto here as a fan for 45 years and then getting to see them live at Birmingham was absolutely amazing, out of this world 🥰💖 hope they bring out a dvd of the concert in their town or somewhere where they have toured in the UK especially for loads of fans that have missed out for whatever reason. Would be absolutely amazing for the fans that were not able to make it and also us too so we can re-live and enjoy again 🥰💖 thankyou once again Rob

Yes. The camera’s presence implied that the tour was being professionally filmed, and I for one will be buying the Concert Blu-ray, if and when it becomes available. I just love watching the concert on my TV and listening to those amazing songs live again.
