I dont use plugins. Just the Kubicki going through a sansamp bass driver and then the interface

Thanks a lot ! What a great bass tone again ! I have to suggest to my bassist ! He runs one of his basses into a mxr 10 bands eq and an ARX DDP-1 Dynamic processor then into the Motu interface, sadly the tone is not clear like yours, maybe he adds to much plugins !

It's easy to use too many effects. I'd highly recommend the Sansamp bass driver DI. It's a very simple pedal and the DI sounds good. Also, remind your bass player to use new strings, it makes a big difference to the bass sound.

Yeah, it's a fab bassline. I was pleased when he highlighted the song. I hope my video makes the bass more prominent and easier to hear. Thanks for your comment, it's much appreciated.

@Just Playing Bass Yeah, that's why I went looking for a cover, to hear the line more clearly. Yours is the most accurate of the several I listened to, and played with fluidity and sensitivity, not mechanically.

@oldwest517 I made a mistake in the 1st few bars as the bass begins, but I think the rest is pretty accurate. Some of the other versions on here aren't very precise as you say. Again, thanks for your comment. 🙂

I don't think it was this song, I heard is was Come Undone that Nick put together the bassline from multiple takes.

@@JustPlayingBass Yeah now you mention it I'm 100% behind you on that I got that wrong choice of songs & this time I'm sure it was " Come Updone " When I was typing my previous comment I had the Come Undone video playing in my head but I picked the wrong song... I'm never one for not being informed that I'm wrong , as the great thing about KZfaq is the ability to pass on knowledge & getting to see uploads of things bring recorded that are about many different subject matters... As soon as I realised in 2010 I wanted nothing to do with Facebook , I knew I had to delete my Facebook Account but as I found out 5 years later that the only way to truly see a Facebook Account completely closed by being dead... WTF! We all eventually got to find out about Facebook UK exchanging personal information to Facebook USA & the fact that they were caught & I think there were those higher up in Power that never got procecuted told me I had done the right thing... I know Facebook is great fir getting in touch or keeping touch with families & friends , along with gaining access to certain sites within sites that can over those on Facebook the opportunity of buying , for instance , like a JD Supernatural Bass Guitar or many other bass guitars & instruments that for what I've been told , these other sites that do this only sell to those within Facebook but I take that information with a pinch of salt , even though I lost out , about 5 weeks ago , from buying a Vintage Fretless Wal MKII Bass Guitar & when there are those who are selling but state the rules for buying it is kind of difficult to say that at times these sellers of specific instruments might actually only sell to a fellow fan of a particular vintage bass guitar... @@JustPlayingBass oh wow...got hooked by that one back when i was 15 and made me picking up the bass in 1990. Was just on Phil s site and really forgot that John played Factir already back in 85 on the Live Aid gig...my old brain. Anyhow thsnxx a lot and looking forward to see the band on their London gig in May!

@@arnejuergens7457 it was the Live Aid concert when I first saw the xfactor and I just had to have one. Took a few years but I got it in the end. Truly a world class bass.
