What comes to mind when you think of Durango Mexico? For us it the Pasito Duranguense, Gorditas, and a desert full of scorpions. Well we were pleasantly surprised of Durango after spending a couple of days here. In today's vlog we give you our first impressions of Durango, Durango street food, and even cool street art in Durango.
Victoria de Durango also known as Durango is located in the northwest side of Mexico. Durango Mexico was not what we expected and after spending two weeks here it's become one of our favorite cities of Mexico.

Durango is such a nice place to live, it's really calm and somewhat affordable. There might not be a lot of thing to do in the town, but if you like ecotourism, Durango has a ton of really beautiful places at less than an hour from the downtown that you can explore. Hope you enjoyed your stay here in Durango :)

Loved this video! My parents are from a little town in Durango, and I got to live there but I haven't been there in a loooong time. I was considering moving to other cities in Mexico, but this video just reminded me how much I miss my motherland and will probably make it home after a month trial. Hope you guys get to visit El saltito waterfalls, Nombre de Dios (for the gorditas) and the old western Hollywood sets! Any chance you guys are making a video about what areas to stay at in Durango? Having a hard time finding videos on good areas to stay at Thanks for this video and the one in how to get Mexican citizenship!

Nice! Which town is your family from? We took the bus from Zacatecas to Durango and passed through Nombre de Dios. The bus made a quick stop there and señoras immediately hopped on to sell gorditas to the passengers, now you're making me wish I would have bought some! Next time 😊 we have a few more videos lined up on Durango and plan to show the AirBnB we stayed in because we loved it. Awesome...you got to visit my birthplace!!! Did you get a chance to eat "gorditas"???

Back in the late 80's because of the famous reforms from the USSR'S premiere Mikail Gorbachev, a then famous Mexican shoe brand did started án industrial style line of shoes for men and women and the line was called "Perestroika Shoe line" and became really popular because of the big thick soles of the industrial shoes and boots.

Perestroika is a Russian word for restructuring which was a political policy by which Mikhail Gorbachev was trying to reform the Soviet Union in the late 80's before collapsed. that is not true, it wasnt born in chicago, it was Patrulla 81 in the late 70's when they were playing in parties in Colonia la piedrera Durango, then they went to chicago bringing that style with them, I am sure about that because I was there, so any bands playing that music are just copies from patrulla 81 style, anybody denying this, we can discuss that, I willbe happy to do that, so, forget about bands like Capaz de laSierra and all that
