It contains stock footage of Durban, a coastal city in eastern South Africa: Umhlanga Lighthouse, the cityscape from the beach, Native Africans walking in the streets, the port and more.

They say my Grand Father used to be a Rickshaw operator in Durban ..i guess around 1905 and 1920

There is something we must remember, although we miss the days of having a working government with working infrastructure, no loadshedding etc we also have to look at the footage to see what apartheid looked like for Blacks and Indians.

Understood. But even blacks and indians will agree that everything WORKED then which is so much better than today irrespective of who's in charge....
