Music is universal. Most of Pakistani music is based on "Hindustani Raaga" system which is based on music from Persia, Turkey, Afghanistan. Saying that it belongs to a particular country is simply a lazy way of putting it.

Abhirupa Roy none of this would have existed then. It would all have been Bollywood musics. And rest suppressed and subdued by RSS. See what happened to it in India. Remember same number of Brothers of Pakistanis live there in India. Urdu was a language that originated in and around deli, lakhnaw, Aligarh. Musics root are from Mughal courts. They were there in India mostly at that time. What happened. To all that. People are still their. Give them respects and freedom. They will sing this.

Anyone who's heard Gullo Sahab when he was young, they can tell what a b'ful face and voice he has had. Also, what old age could do to you, is quite evident here. Gullo's voice has so much sweetness, very similar to Bade Wadali Sahab (who's no more with us). Peace and love!

What a breathtaking synchrony between the two singers! Ustaad Gulluji's presence is indeed powerful - i loved the way he stressed and beautified each lyrical word from simple "Durr" to "Sajana". Wah! Bahot Khub Ustadji. Faisal you were a good leader to bring out the best from Ustadji. The flow of two energies was simply perfect to reach the pinnacle.
