Há dificuldade de minha parte em encontrar palavras que expressem o carinho, respeito e admiração que sempre tive por Durutti Column desde que os conheci nos anos 80 através das rádios 97FM e 89FM em São Paulo que com frequência tocavam suas músicas ricas em melodias celestes. Gratidão por compartilhar 🙏!

This is so good. Been following them since 1981 and this is about the best quality I have seen except for when I was there in person, 1989 Manchester Exchange, Royal Festival Hall 1991, Manchester Cathedral late 90s. Wish I saw more, made more effort. Such an under appreciated genius. The soundtrack of my 20s.

I wasn't but I second that (e)motion! But I was at Vilar de Mouros 6 years BEFORE, with TROTDC and LC material, and that was even magicker ! This is excellent historical material.

I always prefer Durruti Column without synths and pure guitar, but it doesn't sound too bad live here. I'm just grateful these video recordings exists. Brilliant stuff. Seeing Vini play "English Landscape Tradition" is wonderful. "The Begger" as always, is bliss!

This was the first of four concerts I saw of these wonders. I believe this guy's maybe more famous in Portugal than in the UK... Complete fan

I think you are right Carlos. As the saying goes, "A prophet is rarely recognised in their own country" There is quite a few DC fans in the UK, those who have been with the band since the early Factory years, but few younger folk have picked up on them. As you say, they definitely have the bulk of their fan base outside the UK. Thanks for keeping the faith. 💙
