Great walking tour! We considered the Dusit Thani. However it seems to be sold out at least when trying to book it from the US. This hotel seems to be a better pick than the Sofitel (restaurants in walking distance). Since it seems to be booked up - we are looking into the new VARANA (almost next door). I searched the area pretty good actually checked out about 5 properties. Depending on what you are looking for I can give advice

@@IslandHopperTVHotels We will be skipping Krabi & will only hit Phuket and head to Samui afterwards. The Dusit Thani was the only one that met our requirements (big resort with multipe bigger pools at the beach with restaurants in walking distance) for up to 120 USD. Our first stay 14 years ago was at the Hyatt Regency Resort and Spa (Hua Hin). Guess we got spoiled right from the start. However, we know that there are many places that offer a great experience for less than 60 USD ;) If u are still in the Krabi area check out the Panan Krabi. Cheers Sir!

Hi..can u advice us agiid 5 star property with water slides n kids club for toddler. In phuket

Holiday Inn has like 3 properties in Phuket. I am pretty sure the one in Surin Beach Holiday Inn has a slide and kids club. Or maybe Ozo in Kata. Kata is a bit more happening that Surin Beach. Surin is nice sunsets but sleepy village. Kata at that Ozo is a bit more lively. We reviewed both the Surin Beach Holiday in and the Ozo. Have you seen our Phuket playlist?
