Chicago-based composer Andrew Vogt has written original pieces and arrangements for the all-female-led ATLYS String Quartet, EDM artist Seven Lions, 80’s hit machine Tom Kelly, and electric jazz ensemble Bonzo Squad. Vogt’s music has been performed worldwide and featured in full-length movies, and his collaborations amassed 20 hours of music (over 30 albums) on Spotify.
On the performing side of music, Vogt has played with many world-renowned jazz artists, including Woody Goss (Vulfpeck), Ernie Watts (Rolling Stones, Frank Zappa, Pat Metheny), Donny McCaslin (David Bowie), Nate Watts (Stevie Wonder) and Isaiah Sharkey (John Mayer, D’Angelo). His original music voice fuses elements of American jazz harmony, Eastern folk odd meters, and modern electronic writing techniques.
