In fact I would argue that most psychedelic-inspired art is bizarre or absurd rather than truly beautiful, and they tend to all have the same discordant sound and look. I've enjoyed a creative life without this. I have been a boardgame designer and publisher for the last 8 years. If you want a real trip, go alone with your thoughts on a nature walk for 3-4 hours...that will blow your mind and give you all the inspiration you need.

Heh it's been stuck in my jead since I saw that trailer. Which gave me goosebumps btw. I usually hate new movies and reboots but I'm excited to watch this. I jist have to watch the first 2 sequels first. I never bothered watching them because of how bad they were. But I guess the new one makes more sense if you've seen em all. I was 22 and in college when White Rabbit came out in 1967. The crowd I ran with loved it; it was THE perfect party song. I have some great memories associated with that song. Woodstock was across the country from me and I was a poor kid just out of college. As much as I wanted to be there, it was out of the question. I was not much of a Jimi Hendricks fan, but I loved The Doors, The Who, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Jefferson Airplane, Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles, and especially the Stones. I love the Stones, and the fact that they’re still going strong, at my age, never ceases to amaze me. We also had a local band, Paul Revere and the Raiders, and I loved that band. I went to some great concerts in the 60’s and ‘70’s, had some experiences I’ll never forget. It was a great time to be young; I wouldn’t have it any other way.
