Agree but he doesn't even try to build hype or storyline for any of his fights, only for respect n championship belt has he ever spoken of inspiration for him, I feel like screening at the screen always listening to him, the respect n descence is not how you become memorable, love how he fights but bores the life outta me otherwise

How many of these "young lions" look unstoppable ripping through lesser competition on the come up.. then the hype gets burst at the sharp end. Got to admit though.. Very honorable man, like Benoit. Benoit is not « a star in Europe » in fact, at least not yet. I’m glad he did accept this fight. Benoit has the same state of mind, if you’re a real fighter you fight anyone that presents to you. If you know Justin and you know BSD, you know this fight is going to be epic… no matter the outcome of the fight, both will be winners. For me, this fight is clearly a 50/50… Maybe I’m a little bit biased because I’m a French person, but I believe this fight is going to be remembered for a long time if it runs until the 3rd round at least. Justin really did well asking for 5! Both won’t give up Two real fighting spirits

Stop hating. What other champion is fighting more than him? Only Volk, Adesanya and Usman are the most active fighters probably in ufc history too. 2 fights a year is decent for champ. Islam will fight 2 times this year. Plus you don’t know how famous Islam is in the Muslim world. He gets invites to all these Muslim countries all the time just like Khabib did. That’s why he wasn’t so active. Volk, Izzy and Usman don’t have that so they have nothing else to do so they stay active to make money

I like Poirier's mentality a lot. Much more than a guy like Conor McGregor. Thing with BSD is that he has that French dog mentality (I'm French) of "I'm doing everything possible in the cage to win even dying/getting KOed because it's about honor". That's what makes him dangerous. He's not the youngest or the most technical, but he is determined af.

let's be honest the fans don't crap on Women's fights, that is totally not true Just don't give us Mayra Bueno Silva go watch UFC 296 the December card and watch Irene Aldana vs Kara Rosa that fight was better than the men's fight that night let's be honest MBS and Pennington looked like an amateur or teenage karate tournament, MBS was laying on the ground and Pennington could have finished her, instead she just stood there look at both of these fights and tell me which fighters deserved a Belt after the fight.
