Sure, it's not maybe completely complimentary, as it makes them look better, but shit if they beat them, they already look good. Especially if they're a top tier fighter. the way that they forget that there are two fighters in the octagon is also interesting. He says that Oliveira didn't show up, but the sequence was one that's been repeated in his past 6 or 7 fights. Islam just didn't fear the ground game so he just went down with him. I think Volk beats Oliveira pretty easy due to that as well.

Poirier says Oliveira didn't show up in Makhachev fight and says he was better in their fight, but despite not worrying about takedowns, Oliveira still got dropped by those strikers Poirier, Gaethje and Chandler. Vs. Makhachev, he was worrying about both striking and takedowns, thus got dropped again but couldn't survive because Makhachev has elite grappling, Poirier and Gaethje didn't.

Charles figured out the secret sauce against Dustin. Teeps and knees in the thai clinch. Boxers are always way to heavy on the feet, lead or rear, especially when throwing with juice. With a very high guard, they're very prone to it. Should be a great fight

DC saying to Poirier that he is a championship level fighter when he got 2 title shots and got dominated twice,is whole another level of stup1d. It was more like he wanted to take shots at Diaz and Masvidal about their losses while they both turned pro in 2003-2004 years before poirier. Especially Diaz he is been fighting ufc caliber fighters since he was 19 in 2004.

These are facts,not excuses.Poirier debuted in the ufc in 2012.Nate and masvidal were 10 years in by that time😂😂😂😂 Btw poirier already got 7 losses.If he was fighting as long as nate he would have 15-16 cause he would have a lot of pro fights before his peak that translates to Losses. Oliveira debuted at 19-20 in the ufc and lost a lot before he peaked.Does this he mean he aint good cause he will retire with double digit loses?😂 Poirier will never be champ.He will lose a 3rd title shot and retire. Oliveria was beat up for that Islam fight, he was forced to defend his title in enemy territory, after fighting 4 times in like 13-14 months his body and chin jst needed a break. He took a year off and destroyed Dariush. I hope he shows up and puts it on Islam

@@creesco8744 NO ONE TOUCHES ON THIS ABOUT DUSTIN. DUDE has amazing defense! He's got an insane defense against shots using his elbows and forearms... Looks similar to Wing Chun techniques. He never gets hit and his boxing is so crisp with deflecting due to this!

that belt is just for those specific fighters who fights brutally and bloody, the belt holder shouldn't be necessary the best of the bests. and this fight was agreed before the belt was put on the line, it's just a fun thing to add it with this fight.
