I love how this portrays an aspect of dust AUs that's often overlooked, being the emotional weight of the burden placed on the person embarking on the journey of genocide. These people were never lunatics, but broken by one. Playing the genocide route in undertale has its emotional moments, that is what they have to go through, but to an even greater degree as these characters live their lives with these people every day, and obviously the fact that for this fight specifically the characters are brothers is much more dramatized as we see how sans clearly resists Papyrus's efforts to kill him, while many interpretations often prefer to say that the brothers are so loving for each other that they simply accept their fates and die for the cause, which is pretty anticlimactic compared to the dtt version. With that being said, that's why I believe that this is the exact moment when sans is white became heisansberg

The worst thing is that human has choice to complittely wipe every sin on his back by uninstalling Undertale complittely,making him free of his actions... While any other Dust,including even DustDust (i hate him but whatever),they dont have such thing. They are DOOMED to suffer from their sins for rest of eterinity.

This animated soundtrack with all the cutscenes added represents really good the feeling of this fight, how Papyrus is lost in despair and how also Sans gets affected at the end with the same despair, with the last words of his brother being so cruel and cold, not making him sure if he did the right thing or not, amazing work!

This song is so amazing that it would take a very skilled animator to make an Animated OST video that does it justice. But this video is so fantastic that it goes way beyond just doing it justice, everyone who worked on this video did an absolutely phenomenal job on it! Just realized I never commented This is the first video I’ve ever seen from you, I saw it like a week or two, maybe three, ago The quality is so fucking amazing, and this does the song SO much justice Like, gaw dayum this is so fucking cool, I keep coming back to it, and I subscribed the first time I saw it I’ve showed it to my friends too, and the dialogue and lore throughout the fight Just, you did absolutely amazing with this I love every little detail in the animation Especially the bone wave attacks, those are really satisfying to watch, as well as the attacks where the screen flickers, and the flashbacks to previous timelines The text for the song lyrics are also an AMAZING touch, almost like it’s papyrus’s inner conscience telling him to do it for the power, as he gets more corrupted from LV

I find it cool that sans doesn't immediately try attacking back but after about 3 minutes, sans eventually gives up and starts fighting. Also at 3:06, is a point where most other dust au's would probably be like "oh, i give up, just kill me" and thats if they dont just give up at the start. Lastly, It's Nice how the papyrus role actually can put up a fight against the sans role in this au instead of the sans role being god-like and just winning.

@@AdrianRakin IF this is canon underswap then papyrus has hp and sans doesnt. So yeah. Papyrus shoulda low diffed. But if sans has hp and decent stats then it really depends. If us sans is anything like ut papyrus. He trains with undyne and works very hard to try to become a royal guard compared to ut sans or us papyrus who slacks off and only poses a threat to the human if they kill everyone. (Kr)
