That happened in one police video. They were chasing a small SUV and the SUV finally crashed into the edge of a forest. When the cops pulled their guns and yelled at them to come out of the car, 10 people came out. One of the officers said, "good God! how many of you are there?" I couldn't stop laughing.

You don’t have a mute button? Only reason I watched it is because my mom lives down there. I had no idea where he was or going. At least the news reporter gave the names of hiways and landmarks. I use the mute button and turn on captions, especially on videos with computer generated voices.

I'm watching from Switzerland! Here we have nearly never such police chases. With our traffic a suspect has no chance. In Switzerland a lot of farmers drive Subaru, the truck under the cars. I like to see the different countys, structures of citys all over US by watching Police Chase Videos. Thanks!

Watching from NE Texas. Born and raised in LA area but lived in AZ for 27 years: Tempe, Mesa, Chandler, Eloy, and Coolidge. Nice to watch chases in familiar places! Hard to shake the cops when you leave a dust plume behind you letting them know which way you turned.

Sharon, I am in So Cali. I grew up off roading. Some 4 wheel but mostly dirt biking. Started when I was 13 (1967). It is a blast. I have so many fond memories of dirt bike trips, through many years. When my son was old enough we took him with us. We would go camping and take the bikes. One trip was 2 weeks at an Indian Reservation in San Diego County in 1970.

The newscaster was really playing this up. This chase is not at the actual Salt River. It happened on the Salt River Indian Reservation. They were driving around on dirt roads the farmers use for working the farm fields. Not true off roading.

It's an old kia sorento. Literally anything made today has better handling than that POS. Everyone is giving the SUV credit but the truth is the guy was driving very carefully, albeit very recklessly. (If that makes any sense.) Doesn't take that much effort to keep a car in a straight line in dirt.
