Just curious why teaching something so simple requires a treat? They don't allow treats in competition, correct? Why not just teach these simple behaviors with no treats?

When people have specific training questions we recommend that they go to our website and post those questions in the ASK CINDY on the front page of leerburg.com . Cindy has been training dogs since she was a teenager and has competed in several dog sports at a regional and national level. She was also a vet tech and owned a boarding/training and grooming business for many years as well as breeding working Dobermans and Belgian Malinois under the kennel name Kaiserhaus. @@LeerburgDogTraining Not questioning her experience or accomplishments however the dog did jump on her at the beginning and got rewarded for it but I guess competition dogs only need to be good in the ring. I can't imagine positing a video of my dog jumping on me and me rewarding it for doing that. But that is just me. Anyway, most people want comments and questions to help drive their channel but I will be sure to withhold mine in future. I LOVE comments and questions and I am not afraid to answer any of them publicly.
