Open Barrel Racing was the second event of two days of the annual Race 4 Cash competition which is normally held in New Mexico. With that state still in a lockdown mandate, the event was moved to Amarillo, Texas for 2021. #BarrelRacing #Cowgirls #EquineSports #Horses

I'm sorry but I dont understand why people wipe the shit out of their horses. Its been proven that wiping makes them go slower, and im sure it doesn't feel to good either.

thank you! my mare runs like hell when i just kiss her and give her her head she definitely runs faster then my friends gelding and she whips him

@@melbrown555 it depends on The horse some do better with just kissing and kicking some go faster with whips but I agree no one should be whipping all the way home

They should’ve fixed the dirt by the first after the first girl slipped! Laziness on their part! I wouldn’t of ran in those conditions.

The tractors dragged the arena after every five runs. I think there were only 2 or 3 falls out of some 340 runs. This was also an open event so not all riders and horses were top-notch competitors.

Most of the riders were good to the horse but that one that coming back man she was pounding those spurs into the poor horse sides poor horse

Not uncommon in open jackpots. Some of the riders obviously need more training.

I stop barreling my horses they can get very hurt and it is some times abusive messes up horses more than u think i love horses to much to just run them in circles for my gain
