I cooked up some Dutch oven chicken with rice and even though I cooked in the backyard this would be another great camping meal. It's an easy meal to cook and it tastes great too.
I love Dutch oven cooking, you can cook lots of delicious meals, and it's very simple to do. In fact, it's almost as easy to cook at the campsite as it is in the backyard.
This meal turned out great and was very simple to prepare. So, next time you go camping give this chicken and rice recipe a try.

The pot has to be hot or cold, when you put the rice and if it has to be only greased when it is cold?

Did you use reg rice or instant rice..

I have a question: the cast Iron with the rice, have to be warm?

Good video, Tom! You can always trust a big dude's cooking. Not that you're um, you know, fat, Tom. We can tell you know your way around a chicken. And speaking of chicken-- with rice? Almost no way to go wrong there. One of the all-time greats for dinner. Keep up the good work!
