THAT ONE WAS VERYGOOD/ex QTY +VERYGOOD /ex STERE0- FOR THAT TIME..FROM THAT VHS COPY THERE ARE COPY,S WORLDWIDE AROUND HOWEVER IN 2011 IVE GOT THIS NEW COPY ON DVD.THIS ONE WAS RECORDED STRAIGHT FROM JAPAN TV WHICH NOT ONLY GAVE A CLEARER DIG-PICTURE, BUT FOR SURE HAVE A BETTER-CLEARER DIGITAL STEREO..SO A CHALLENGE COULD IT BE ANY BETTER ..?? WELL IT,S HERE ENTIRELY RE-MASTERED IN 2023 IN FULL-HD .!!. THIS ONE IS BETTER AS ANY PREVIOUS UPLOAD OF THIS SHOW. .WELL SEE/HEAR &JUDGE YOURSELF. Strong performance even in his later years! Let me tell all of you something I saw James Brown in his prime in the 60's and 70s and he was MISTER DYNAMITE SOUL BROTHER NUMBER ONE! NOBODY COULD TOUCH HIM PERIOD!ALWAYS HAD THE BADDEST BANDS OF ALL TIME!

Hi William , well you live in the states while i live my whole life thousends of miles away , ive got the pleasure to see him the first time live in the early seventies,up to his latest shows july 2006 in europe, seen him everywhere , indeed always had a great band.

@Dutchsoulman- D.S.M Hi my fellow Soul Brother, I live in the states and I was very close to New York City. I saw James Brown at the Apollo Theater in his glory days in the 60's and 70s and I mean it was PURE EXCITEMENT! Every time he hit that stage at the apollo theater he had to bring his best. At that particular venue if you didn't bring your best that crowd would let you know about it. That was a merciless crowd. Even James Brown said if his show got over at the apollo theater he could take that show anywhere on the planet. I have more stories for you and I will tell you all the ones that I remember. Keep up the great work that you do finding all of these treasures and thank you so much!

@@williamparker3328 Your welcome William , Well ive videotaped all i could my hands on from james brown and any other soul/funk/reggae artist ive found interesting to recorded since 1978 while had my first(very exspencive then )videorecorder.and had always a rule to record them on decent tapes .oh i believe you you got stories to tall , and ive got a lot stories too . its my pleasure to remaster footage , and bring some stuff out here so people can enjoy..Thanks dsm

There will never ever be another showman like Mr Dynamite Soul Brother #1 The Hardest Working Man The Godfather Of Soul "JAMES BROWN" The Man has it all when it comes to stage performance like no other The Man's music is so complex that no other artist can compete or compare The Man is simply amazing and "THE BAND" simply incredible This man simply stands alone in a class by himself "THE KING OF SOUL" I had the opportunity of seeing him "Live" 4 times twice in 1 night and the first time back in "74" front row seat WOW what an amazing time!!! JAMES BROWN #1 ALL-TIME in my book!!!

Absloutly great show! This is one of the biggest JB bands ever with 7 horns, 3 guitarists, 2 bassists, 2 drummers, 1 percussionist and a keyboard player!! In 1994 at the Apollo he had about the same number of band members.

Hey!,thank all of you for so many years of sitting back and if it was by seeing or hearing this incredibly amazing man, you had to know every moment was a special moment;and yes this is the usual line up (band members)what you see on this footage. This is Pittsburgh, we did this and flew out the next morning for Japan. Enjoy!❤
