Hi, I'm a resident po sa Davao City. Para sa taong nanghusga sa ginawa ni Mayor Sarah, you must know first kung bakit naghinge siya ng 2hrs extension.. The day before nangyari ang demolition, may calamity na nagnyari sa Davao, specifically sa Matina Pangi Area kung saan nagkaroon ng baha, sa Pangi River, kung saan ilang bahay ang tinangay at marami din ang namatay.. nandun si Mayor Sara para sa retrival operation ng mga katawan ng natangay ng baha.. kaya naghinge xa ng Extension sa Sheriff para magkaroon ng maayos na pag-uusap ang mga residente at ang demolition team kasi darating si Mayor.. Makapagbigay din si Mayor ng magiging relocation nila.. pero pagdating ni Mayor, ang nadatnan nya na nagliparan na ang mga tear gas, bato at indian pana.. kaya galit na galit si Mayor, dahil sa gitna ng calamidad, d pa nakinig ang Sheriff, ginamit pa ang pulis na nasa command ng Mayor.. Now, kung kayo si Mayor Sara anu ang gagawin nyo sa Sheriff? You can't blame her din naman. So please stop bashing her, lalo na sa mga wala naman talagang alam sa totoong nangyari. Ganito kc nangyari, Sara asked for 2 hours na hintayin sya bago simulan ng demolition team ang pagsira sa mga bahay ng mga residente. She know it would be bloody as residents were ready to fight back. Angry residents we’re armed with improvised sling-propelled darts, other bladed weapon ( itak, kutsilyo etc ) and hard objects. At may isang policeman na nasaktan na tinamaan ng darts. On that day Sara was very busy taking care of the flash flood victims that devastated Talomo district. area. That’s why she asked the demolition team to wait for her cause she don’t want any blood shed. She rushed to the area when informed that the demolition team was tearing down the shanties. Sara said this when she arrived at the area “ I was in the middle of 13,000 people who are badly in need of assistance and here you are doing this? Is that difficult to do when I have successfully done it and I am a woman?” The sheriff tried to explain but Sara got so mad she punched him 4 times on his face. And Sara convinced the residents to be relocated after the incident. BBMSARA! #teamunity

Actually a meeting was scheduled to plan this smoothly. The sheriff should have waited for the meeting before they started demolishing the homes of those poor people. The sheriff took a group of people from another area who happens to be enemies of the teens of that area and that could possibly cause bloody war. If the Mayor didn't stop the sheriff by making her own scene the people could have been fighting. Moreover, the owner did not find a relocation for the poor families living in that area, then where will these people go? Her barbaric action was her only choice to have their attention and to protect those two groups from starting a war. I was there. That is why the end justifies the means.

@@Rey-lg8sx lol, do you know what is peace and order? the Sheriff ordered condemnation which means he doesn't care if the informal settlers getting hurt. Mayor Sarah that time are attending to residents affected by the flood and she only need a couple of hours to arrive and personally negotiate with the settler cause they listen to her. The sheriff did not listen to Mayor Duterte plea and instead ordered condemnation causing havor and chaos to the said premises. Who wouldn't be angry by that unjustified actions? Sheriff doesn't listen to the people's plea, Sarah did the right thing, if the authority has no empathy to the poor, might as well impose to them their own medicine.
