Considering that is has a flying saucer, a rocket and 3 space shuttles, it’s no wonder the people at Saban thought Megaranger was space themed.

And make the serie looks like a Star Trek Voyager episodes with the Mega Ship and Shuttle Combo similar dynamic with de USS voyager and Delta Flyer. Power Ranger was the end of a era. A great end for me.

The main robo is called Galaxy Mega and nearly every mecha is themed after spacecraft. Do not tell me space is not AMONG its motifs.

It _is_ space themed though. They go into space every single combination. All the designs are based off of space ships and space themed vehicles.

As a kid I would have loved to have these. I had an Astro Megazord toy, but it wasn't the deluxe transformable ship one; instead the only articulation was in the arms and it included a really miniature Andros. The only other Megazord toy I had was the Rescue one from Carranger / Turbo - but I was way into Megaranger / Space compared to the other series at the time. The other series I liked was GoGo-Five / Lightspeed Rescue, but I didn't end up getting anything from that era. I don't think my folks were too keen on gifting me stuff from Sentai, as they thought it was stupid. Ah well.

These guys have a really cool mechanic that the newer series don’t. They cleverly combine together and not just a bunch of parts stuck together

Back then, engineering was complex, then it was simplified until this year's Sentai, Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger. It brought back the complex engineering.

Every Season has a diferent design philosofy. That make it especial everyone. That particularity is more evident trought the years and decades. Its fun watch this videos to see the diferent toys design for that reason.

I can really appreciate how EVERY robot in this series all have separate legs No one of them has a single piece design unlike many other Sentai Team’s toy sets Examples like GoGo Five’s Super Gattai and the base toys from like Dekaranger and Dairanger’s Daimugen

Hồi còn học lớp 1 lớp 2 xem bộ này trên kênh truyền hình lúc 6h . Phải nói đây là bộ hay nhất đã từng xem về phim siêu nhân , hay hơn tất cả những bộ sau này xem , lúc đó coi là phim mỹ , có cả thầy oliver trong thunder ranger sau này thì phải.ấn tượng nhất Nhân vật siêu nhân đó có tóc dài màu ánh kim . Bộ này chia thành 2 phần 2 thời kỳ , xem nhớ mãi , cốt chuyện cực hay luôn. Cảm ơn a Duy Huynh 💓

I understand Sentai's early days had just one vehicle that transformed into a mech. But as an American kid who was used to each ranger getting their own piece of a combined mech, the Megaship was so jarring to me. Hell, for a long time I considered Mega Voyager the space team's true megazord.

@@DuyHuynhchannel For Megaranger/In Space, only Galaxy Mega and Super Galaxy Mega were renamed. I don't count adding "Megazord" to the end of a mecha's name. Megaforce also reused at least some of the Goseiger names if I remember right.

@@DuyHuynhchannel I also still have my Astro Megazord from when I got it as a kid. I can confirm the only notable difference between it and Galaxy Mega is that the booster, sword, and MegaShip guns are entirely white plastic. No missing chrome, no altered stickers, electronics are still the same.

Was there ever a time you were bored and decided to re recreate fight scenes or make your own with your super sentai/power rangers mecha? Cause at the end of the day these are toys and toys are meant to be played with not sit around on a display shelf all day collecting dusk so it’s nothing to be embarrassed about. I’m a grown man and I still play with toys.
