I love mine as well. It is the perfect bag, for me. I’ve gone into LV several times to buy the PM but was discouraged for a number of reasons. When I saw this it was a no-brainer. This is now my everyday bag and I’m fighting the urge to buy a second one.

I was waiting for your review. I know how much you love your LV PM, so when the pre-orders for this came up, I jumped at the chance. I'm so glad I did. It's a very practical bag and easy to use. I would die for the buttercream color! I'm so in love with that color ever since you dropped your collab for it.

The black is gorgeous. Now I'm thinking of ordering it, but I want to receive the gray with silver hardware 1st. I ordered and I'm so excited. It said it be 12 weeks but I hope it comes before then. I always like the PM design, but never liked the monogram look, but the empreiette leather was so expensive. Now there is an alternative in the black in leather, love it. Thanks for the comparison

LV did put a protectulive cover on the lock pin to stop it scratching the plate on later models. I have the monceau which i much prefer to the PM, but i do have the coach cassie in taupe, ixblood and black.

Ah, good to know! I had no idea LV added that. Also, a lot of people wish the Coach Cassie original would be brought back. I think this DUYP version will offer a more affordable option for many.

TFS! I think I'm going to pull the trigger soon on this beauty soon. I'm trying to limit my spending this year and follow a bit of a one in one out rule or really one in 2 out at this point LOL. That being said, I just ordered the Coach quilted Tabby 33 so I'll need to hold off until at least April I'm thinking. I have the Pochette Metis and use to own the Coach Cassie, I sold the Cassie because I wasn't using it much but I really like the leather of this DUYP Paris 15. I do wish the leather strap was a bit wider as I prefer wider straps. I love that this one doesn't have glazing, Coach back in the day did mostly folded leather on the ends instead of glazing which was beautiful.

So excited to see this ‘inspired’ version with togo leather! I must say I prefer this to the lv pochette metis 😊 However I noticed a pretty significant ‘line’ on top of lock once you open the front bag at 2:28 is it normal to have this visible line on the bag? Does the pochette metis have this too?

I just checked my bag and I don’t see any line in person but I do see what you mean in the video. I have bright sunlight coming through the camera so sometimes things look more stark (like dust particles, lines, indents etc). It’s just the back of the lock that’s on the interior of the bag that’s probably showing through as a line, but like I said, I can’t see it in person.

This bag looks nice and a great dupe for the LVbag but... Why are the options to pay only venmo and paypal? I find it odd.. If I place an order ...is it going to ship from China or somewbere and take 7-14 weeks to ship? I saw one of the language options is malay... Is that where they ship from? Malaysia ? I would just like to clarify the smell of the bag when you receive it. Does that smell go away if you leave it outdoors for awhile or after time?

Mine has been 7 days already and it hasn't go away yet. I tried to use it and the smell transferred to my slgs. I did contacted DUYP and she confirmed that it's from the glue used and is non-toxic. And with time and uses it will fade away. Just want to mention that Hanna's review is bang on, both positive and negative.

Mine still smells, probably bc I kept it in the dust bag so now I’m airing it out properly. I can tell that the more I wear it outside, the faster the smell will dissipate. Hope that helps!

Yes, so far, I see caramel brown and dark grey but I believe they are sold out and will be restocked later. I heard there may be other colors coming soon based on popular demand.

Oh, I talked about this in the video! It has a factory smell that is dissipating each day. I’m actually surprised bc the other DUYP pieces I’ve received did not have this smell but perhaps bc it was packaged so tightly when it arrived.

As far as I can tell, there is zero infringement on copyright or anything like that, and there are other brands that make bags like this. LV came out with their Pochette Metis AFTER the Coach Cassie became so popular, so in essence, LV copied Coach. 😂 Truth is, designers are inspired by each other all the time and put their own twist on styles.

😮That inside textured looking flap is going to get stained fast. Wish there was a surprise pop of color for the inside flap instead of boring dirty grey color, hopefully just my screen projecting that full gray color.

Just another reason why designer bag quality is in the toilet now... the piping around the DUYP version is next level. LV cheaped out on that with glazing, clearly.

@@hellocatwalkcity I noticed the newer colors like camel, buttercream and grey seem to have the pebbled leather piping rather than the Vachetta leather.... not sure how that will compare or hold up.
