The Cheapest way to explore the nearby attractions of Dwarka (Gujrat) is by local sight seing bus. Bus fare is Rs 120 per person. The bus covers following four places.
1. Rukmani Devi Temple
2. Nageshwar Jyotirling
3. Gopi Talav
4. Beyt Dwarka (Okha)
These tour are conducted twice a day. First tour starts at 7:30 am and 8:00 and till 1:00 pm
Second tour starts at 2:00 pm till 7:00 pm.
Bus can be booked from hotels or at travel agent shops located at all main chowks of Dwarka.
From Okha, one has to board the steamer boat to reach the Beyt Dwarka Island. Frequency of these boat is 15 minutes and one side fare is Rs 20. On this island there are two temples. Main temple is around half kilometer from the jetty/shipyard. Another temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman (Dandi Hanuman Ji ka mandir) is 5 Kms from the main temple.
While returning by bus you can alight 10 kms ahead of Dwarka if you want to explore Shivrajpur Beach. This beach is very beautiful at the same time you can enjoy here various water sports and boating at very cheap rate. (Rs 100 onward). But keep in mind that you have to walk 1.5 Kms from bus stop (main road) to reach the beach. Shared Auto riksha (from main road) will charge Rs 30 for Dwarka Main City.
