your dm didn't work "last second" because they still have not removed Geoff Goodman's nerf where her DM takes 1 entire second to activate after the last time you used it. which is far longer an activation cooldown than ANY shield, and actively punishes skill and split second eats. The faster your reaction time, the more it punishes you for being too good at DM. if blizz cared, they'd make the activation cooldown the same as shields, and then add "deactivation delay" at the end of every activation, as the nerf meant to prevent "flickering DM to infinity" and this achieves the same thing (eating your meter) without punishing reaction times and artificially slowing them.
