Parusing some of my DVD collection to weed out some to donate, some to keep. Soft spoken ramble, tapping, relaxing.

Hey Michael been enjoying your videos a lot recently, rewatching the car history and my first car one which are my favourites. Hope you are well especially with your illness and such, keep doing what you’re doing :)

I am a HUGE fan of collections. Probably because it's in my nature, as a coin collector, to admire other people's hobbies. You have very nice titles there. I feel life I should be taking notes. I did start the Colombo series after you praised it, and don't regret it one bit. Also, love the tapping, the whispery-soft spoken, so thank you!

Thank you very much JM and enjoy those Columbos! The 70's series writing was much better than the remake of the 90's.

I'm very big on DVDs, I regularly get them for free at my public library---and although it's SLIGHTLY behind say a Redbox or Netflix---the delay isn't as long as you might imagine. Back in the '80s they Had VHS that seemed like they were 20 years behind the times---but now you can pick them up pretty close to the time they go out on Amazon----so yes. But I am middle aged and very "old school" in some of my ways--so take it for whatever it's worth that I still love DVDs. *PROTIP for Stephen King:* Never do a remake on a film where Jack Nicholson was playing the lead role.

Yes, I still like the DVDs also, but no "Blu Ray" I just have the older ones.

This is already a classic! One of my new favorites, reminds me of the vinyl collection video (which is one of the greatest ASMR vids). Very soothing Michael!

Don't tend to watch DVD's any more. Have rather a lot of blu-ray's but hardly have time to watch those either. Great video.

Thx Christine, yes what a great film, the musical score, acting, and "feel' of covering an extended era, I wonder if his daughter ever visited him,,,

@@MichaelSoothingASMR Yes! The music was fantastic! And from what I have read, yes, they did reconnect when he got released and she also visited him a couple of times right before he got out.

hi Michael, how is everything going? you have some great videos there in your collection, I have many dvds myself and I used to purchase a lot , but over the years I have cut way back because of space issues and I have so many that I have not watched in years. donating them is always a good way to clear out ones collection. I have got to do this myself some day, but I always procrastinate and it seems to never get done. anyway, this was a very calming and relaxing video of you describing these dvds and the actors and so forth. I like that coin in your hat as I did that stone you had in it the last time. hope this finds you well and thank you for another terrific asmr video, god bless, rob

Thank you rob! Yes, it is so hard to part with collections. Soon I will do a vinyl LP video and then donate them since I have no way to play them anymore

I actually have more VHS tapes than DVDs and still watch them from time to time. Something about the relatively poor quality of a video brings me back to my childhood in the late 90s and early 00s before DVDs completely took over.

I have at least two Howard Hughes bios in my house, including the most "highly regarded" bio, and am such a lazy bum I probably haven't read 20 pages out of either one. Just a side note on how lazy I am there. heh. Have you seen Nicolas Cage's *"Gone In 60 Seconds"* ?? Be forewarned, it is kind of a B-film, but it has car aspects to it you might thoroughly enjoy. But could you stomach its dialogue and predictability?? Not sure, but I think the cars MIGHT make it worth it for you.

Yes, saw that film Rubin, not one of his best but I always love car films!!
