Still have my dvd set from 2002.. Full Screen open Matte version.. I had rented the trilogy on vhs 📼 and after seeing all three movies, I learned the next day that the DVD set released same week. Parents bought it for me as a Christmas gift 2002! The making of documentaries were awesome to see!

I got the same ones as you. I bought the single movie for The Ride bonus feature. I also bought the 30th Blu Ray and Flux Copaceter Box Set. It's a great movie and I have no regrets. Plus Michael J Fox was born in my town of Edmonton too. Will I buy a 40th anniversary. Hell Yeah😅

I grew up watching it on VHS back to the future i have the 1986 and 1989 i got the 89 from my video store where i rented part 2 and 3 and i still have them pre owned 2 copys i have 2 copys of 86 to

I grew up watching it on a VHS i recorded of HBO, plus I saw it twice in theatres for it original run.

Anthony Great Review I Love These Movies And I Own So Many Versions On DVD & Blu-Ray I Have The Standard Trilogy DVD Halographic Covers The Flux Capassader Set The 40th Anniversary Blu-Ray With The Animated Series & I Dont Know If You've Ever Seen It Or Own It But The Back In Time Documentry Is Amazing To Own As Well I Lived In Orlando Florida For 10 Years I Loved The Ride Rode It Many Times Before It Was Replaced At Universal Orlando By I Believe The Simpson Ride Is There Now Same With Terminator 3-D Replaced By Transformers I Miss Old Universal Orlando I Actually Met The Entire Cast At A Virtual Meet And Greet Con Excluding Micheal J. Fox The 1st 2 Were The Best 3 Was OK in My Opinion Personally But All Are Great Greatest Trilogy Of All Time I Have Never Seen The LaserDisc Looking Forward To It Anthony.......... Remember The Future Is Whatever You Make It

I was a kid only had part 2 on vhs and part 3 record. Later on the Blue collection set I had on vhs. And then the single dvds I sold then bought the 25th anniversary blu ray set, the second release only the blu ray disc. Currently I only own the 25th and 35th anniversary set on blu ray and the 30th on DVD with the cartoon. Awesome collection

Regarding the cropping issue on the 2002 DVD, this had to do with the fact that the trilogy was filmed open matte, and the 2002 DVDs of 2 and 3 (but not 1) ended up framing it incorrectly, with 75% of the movie being off-center (too much headspace, etc).

Thanks! Yeah I remember there was a cropping issue at the time. But with it being 20 years ago I didnt remember the exact details.
