No one sings this aria more emotional and beautifully than Ms. Fleming. Not even the divine Aida Garifullina. It is outstanding

Dvorak wrote the most beautiful song about love! And naturally of the moon. Of Love and Moon. Incomparable. "Song to the Moon"!

Співачка дуже тонко передає всі почуття закоханої дівчини-Русалки. Чудова співачка. Найкраща Русалка Дворака.

Her performance is truly amazing, no doubt, but it is pretty clear that she doesn't speak any Czech...

Renee Fleming ... so fulfilling to the listener...nothing missing, whole , one could not want a singer to be anything else. From first note to the last their is nothing lacking, every note is the best one. The tone is so pleasant and strong or light and delicate. whatever she wants. Her skills honed so perfectly as are her fellow collegues. Listening to perfection makes one feel and hear a part of The Plan our Creator has in mind for all souls. attainment of a truth pure.

Her singing is gorgeous. You Czechs out there: how is her pronunciation?
@janchotek4 жыл бұрын
Her pronunciation is heroic (considering the tongue-twisting difficulty of the Czech language) and any imperfections are outweighed by her beautiful personality and heavenly voice.
@mrkv4k4 жыл бұрын
There is a noticeable accent, but her pronunciation is perfectly understandable.

A top quality performance. Why does the idiot at the end have to break the mood, so carefully created, by shouting out so quickly at the end to show us he knows what's what?

question: who is the most senior in an orchestra? the conductor? no, but who saw? then there is the light. it is very difficult to create lighting with the audience for the production. first everyone who plays in the orchestra has their light so they can see the notes. it's so white light. when you make a TV production, you must ideally have - 1000 watts of white light - times 2. but it doesn't work in an atmospheric concert hall. then it is about them - they rarely stand in the light that has been created for them. sigh! and in many, many cases, many soloists are outside the spotlight. because they think there is so much light 🙏🏻😅😔 so yes. I have great compassion as far as technique is concerned. when the sound technician sets up microphones that are perfectly set, then - yes, they grab the microphone and ruin the whole thing, by wiggling the microphone or getting too close. sigh! as far as the audience is concerned, they hardly understand how much time such a production takes - also because in old halls you can hardly hang anything, and that's nice. It's like in the "old days" - you come to the theater to see "the others", I'm not saying that the experience and empathy are there, but prestige and such things are of high priority - what kind of dress and earrings - on the toilet, talking the derogatory ones or that - this singer is much, much better than she we saw - in general you have to educate your audience. then there is the opening of this outstanding concert - utterly boring, what does the camera man mean? or the lady? why are these productions always so hopeless - even if they are good. because now it's a crisis, folks! we need something strong to save this noble art - orchestras and opera are headed for the ditch. yes it looks very nice, but we are losing the classical tone, we are losing so much art - and the art of the voice - that's right - the highest in an orchestra. then reach your pockets and pay for quality art. stop nagging. that's how we solve these damned wars. ♥️🎓greetings she annoyingly 😊happy from the dandelion.she is lovely❤

I agree, she's absolutely amazing, and I think her technique measures up to great sopranos of other eras too. As for Netrebko, her voice may be good, but her technique is mediocre.
