Old radio allows the listener to provide the scene and the players, and that's what makes the memories so special.

My fifth time hearing this one and I never tire of the story lines . Dick Powell had a flowing talented touch with this character ,Richard Diamond Thanks

Great Episode: I love these Gritty older versions (they're much better than the 'singing versions' of Powell.) Please load more.

Blake Edwards wrote a lot of the Diamond scripts, which may be why I enjoy the show so much.

Yes, there are not too many old time radio shows I like but this one is truly one of the 'theater of the mind' winners.

It's amazing to see who wrote these scripts and who was in some of the old time TV shows as well as to where they got their starts as an example Adam West was in the detective a TV show as one of the detectives
