Pretty ironic coming from Cao Ren considering shares the same voice actor who voiced Uesugi Kenshin in the first Samurai Warriors game, who very much loves fighting & sake lol.

while this is true he did it at night when the enemy wasn't suspecting it and the small numbers meant that the enemy had trouble telling them apart from each other, size doesn't exactly help when your getting commando'ed

Amusing as that line is, it's not pwnage because Gan Ning misses the point. Cao Ren specifically complains about people who take pleasure in fighting. He neither says nor implies that fighting in general is Bad, Umkay? Therefore, it is not hypocritical for him to carry a weapon, especially because his actions throughout the game show a consistent dislike for unnecessary violence.
