A lot of you have been requesting a Pea Pufferfish aquascape for years now... My wife has been as well. I finally decided to make that happen! I really like how it turned out and I can't wait to see how it progresses.
That's another off the list! I wasn't sure if I'd ever keep them, but I'm glad I decided to. They're still fairly shy at the moment, but I see their personalities grow every day. Apparently, they're known for getting bored, so I did my best to make an enriching environment.
As always, let me know what you think about the final design. Also, be sure to check out my aquascape playlist to see more aquarium builds.

I'm so excited to finally release this build! We've been planning it pretty much since the bullfrogs moved into the 75 gallon rack. I knew it would happen, but even then I was dragging my feet! I'm glad I finally did though because I'm really enjoying the puffers and this tank. Now I need suggestions for the final 40 gallon tank? Congratulations to the winners of the 750,000 giveaway. I shout them out in this video, so make sure to watch the whole video. If it was you, please send me an email. Also, be sure to check out my new channel if you want more content. Just to be clear, nothing is changing on this channel. I'm starting this one to upload more. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mJyPmKqI0qetko0.html

I own a big ol reef tank, and boy its by far the most work of all of my animals including my reptiles. Most expensive too. However, its amazing to have a mini ocean in your house. Its def harder keeping water parameters right with reefs, its a ton of trial and error. But the animals are other-worldly. Polyps are also so fantastic to have. I know serpa could easily handle a reef if he was dedicated to it. If he can handle freshwater parameters this successfully hed be great at saltwater too.

I used to feed mine black worms. Just need to be careful of parasites, as with all live food. Also, pea puffers are real nasty to each other. I could see them already sizing each other up in this set up. Good thing it’s a big tank, so they can stake their claims.
@markvickery5894
@markvickery5894 3 жыл бұрын
@@azura4582 it's good to feed a varied diet, but yeah blloodworms can be the staple of their diet if you want, however snails can also be the main staple, the main thing is just to feed both/a variety of different things as really what's known about the nutritional needs of fish isn't much, when compared to other animals like dogs and cats, so variety is always best to ensure they get what they require

I also got these little dudes a little awhile ago and some awesome cherry barbs. I plan to attempt breeding them as well and make some vids on my experience. So far I’ve just showcase my first ever ecosphere and learned a lot from the experience. Tanner, I love your videos. They remind me of the things I would try to capture in nature during my darkroom photography classes, constrast, positive and negative space, composition. They are beautiful! i especially love how you create natural avenues for the fish and other animals in your videos. Much love!

"...salt water." 💯, Mrs. Serpa. Our high school had one that I helped care for and they are a PAIN IN THE BUTT to manage, but the corals and anemones and fish sure were gorgeous.

I have 18 pea puffers for about 2 years now. Super entertaining fish. And surprisingly vicious. The ONLY fish that they get along with in peace are 4 bumblebee gobies. Everything else WILL get attacked.

Just getting around to watching this, but give the lady her saltwater tank! A small reef set up would look amazing. 😃
