The only thing I heard about this, is that none of my military friends in Hawaii could get there because it was packed with civilians.

Kougeru My cousin was there. He got to actually go on the stage and present the flag. He said only military and military families that live on base were allowed to go.

That's not true. The website itself specifies each military member, were allowed to bring 10 non-military with them. Family or otherwise. This is exactly what happened. Far too many civs were allowed. www.military.com/daily-news/2016/10/25/rock-the-troops-concert-turns-away-military-members.html This is just one story about it. Facebook was littered with complaints by (proven) military.

Kougeru this is true even before we went many of us were complaining that civilians shouldn't be allowed. Especially since there was originally i think a 10,000 people capacity which i guess they increased? Soldiers in uniforms had to be turned away, very unfair. :(
