Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Talks His Dad’s ‘Tough’ Life Lessons

Last year, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson opened up about his relationship with his dad Rocky “Soulman” Johnson while promoting his film “Hobbs & Shaw.”
Johnson told “Extra’s” Terri Seymour, “My dad was tough. He only knew tough love. It wasn’t until I got older that I understood his hard road that he lived on why I was getting that tough love and I’m grateful for it.”
Dwayne also remembered his dad waking him up early in the morning to teach him life lessons, such as working hard and being proud of who you are. Watch!

Thats why you turned ou to me a great man because you've learned to accept your dad and understand him regardless of the mistakes he made in raising you due to his upbringing..we all need to do the same so we can make changes in the patterns of our families...change what you didnt like in your upbringing and do what they didn't..amazing words Dwayne!❤😘🙏👏

After hearing that about the tough love and his dad passing. Maybe I should call my mom and tell her I’m grateful for being so mean and tough on me as a kid. I never got why she was like that at all and I have kids. The only thing it did was make me not want to talk to her when I became a man. My dad was never there so my mom raised me. But boy was she strict and would whoop you if you did anything wrong.

First of all Dwayne the Rock Johnson represents both side of race you should take a step back and look at all he has done in his life from college football to major super star in wrestling even in the being of his wrestling career starting from the bottom his very first coming to the ring intro was All EYEZ ON ME 2PAC music. and movies and he is really good fater figure and plus in his movies he show both sides of his race in movies and he is Really good friends with Kevin Hart the Rock do what he wants he can REPRESENT both sides it's his Choice the biggest problem in this world is not what race you are but walking thru this journey of life and how are you going to live it and Dwayne Rock Johnson got his Dad house Rock is truly positive and humble person who loves his father deeply and all his family members.
