Went to see Dwele in concert; Atlanta, GA, right after I escaped my abusive ex- husband to live in a hotel. I caught the bus to the train downtown and waited in a line outside with great anticipation to get in. I had on my black pinstriped lady suit with my Afro and incense perfume; I was high and filled with a wine cooler. Super excited when the lights went out and it was time to vibe real heavy and in person. I summoned Dwele to my area and he came towards me but he couldn't climb to the next level to get me. Damn! Damn! Damn! 😂 I didn't want anyone else in my bed but Dwele that night as I traveled back to my freedom hotel. Smoked and played every song he performed that night once again until I fell asleep. I have stayed in love with him (for his talent and fine-ness) ever since I first heard Hold On when I worked at Savannah College of Art and Design (2004). It's been on and poppin' 💕😘 Thank you Detroit for my blessing.
