@mariap.thisislife87356 жыл бұрын
kbrinson85 I try and shimmy, like Dwight does, and act like I am wearing pointed boots. I introduced him to my 6 yr old granddaughter. . When she saw him on KZfaq, I let her watch only a portion of one of his videos. So we called his dance that thing. (Where he swivel and spins with his guitar and then the hip swivel and knees to boot part) so if she sees me dancing to his cds she runs to her mom or her grandpa and tells them that "she is doing that thing ".Lol. I guess you have to be here. 🎸

When I was in high school in Asheville, North Carolina, by great friend Larry Barnwell's dad used to have about 15 or 20 people over to their house to play hillbilly music. It was all acoustic instruments but when they were all playing and singing, you could feel the floors vibrate. This video reminds me of that from long ago in a galaxy far far away.

I'm 41, Dwight is one of the last good country musicians, this new stuff is not country, it's hip hop with fake southern draws. I grew up on Waylon, Johnny, George, Conway, Hank Jr., Listened to Dwight, in the 90s, after that country kind of petered out for me. Glad to see Dwight still performing!

Dear Dwight, where your voice is, it's gotta be fascinating, so it is with this . Love it for the soul seizing simplicity, friendliness, human, personal touch in this , that is rarest of rare to find in any other contemporary performance . I love this team that's here in this vid.In fact I like this more than the previous recording where music was much heavier and louder. Love the backup singing, specially Lucinda's tune variation is working great as backup to this great Buck Owens creation. I'm so gonna be at your concert someday soon. Thats my dream that must come true. Only thing I'm missing your signature move, they add to your music, please please don't loose that.... Love Love Love and Bestest of best wishes from India

Yeah, agreed. Lucinda is the perfect compliment to Dwight's vocals and Steve Earle's got a soulful touch that makes his verse fit perfectly. They should record more acoustic stuff. This is a very unique tour.

Brilliant songwriter and Musician with such a unique voice. I’ve moved on from Merle somewhat for now, I think Dwight deserves everything he has achieved and more.
