Read the Bible that Iron (the 3rd Rome) and clay (the soft power) don't mix but will stick together in the end time. Daniel 2:43-44 (ASV) 43 And whereas thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men; but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron doth not mingle with clay. 44 And in the days of those kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed, nor shall the sovereignty thereof be left to another people; but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

They are already doing it by themselves, they want to stick together because the US is too strong for either of them, so they can't expand their empire. And throw in there Iran and North Korea too just for their hate of the US.

It is a common misunderstanding. It was, for once, not NATO that was the problem in Libya, but the UN. NATO had a far more realistic and responsible long-term solution than the UN. The UN was more militaristically short-sighted, finding it more important to drop bombs than to engage in reconstruction. In this case, NATO was considerably more restrained.

Furthermore, the EU has always been one of the largest importers of Russian fertilizers. Svein Tore Holsether, director of Yara, one of the main Norwegian nitrogen fertilizer industries, raised the alarm about Europe's excessive dependence on Russian fertilizers, fearing a block on exports from Moscow in the event of a worsening of political tensions. Well I'd argue that Germany and the allies both played a part in the area back in WW2 so the mission creep is a bit expired by now. It's not really anything new. Kinda embarrassing that NATO have to call Australia and NZ partners rather than allies when they both had boots on the ground in Europe when NATO's founders won all those years ago. I'd argue that NATO owes them membership and have owed them that since before it existed but just haven't yet grown to that scale. Just like everyone knew Finland and Sweden deserve there spots before they joined we already know that these pacific partners also deserve their spots even tho they haven't yet ascended to full membership.

The other countries like Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam Laos are all doing business, and building infrastructure with China's assistance and all want to be part of BRICS. I only pity those EU countries and now Asian Countries led by Leaders who have surrounded their country's interests and Identity to another country. Because a couple of weeks ago, Philippines military has clashes with China police on the sea, where US ship moved away, and didn't help Philippians. So they realised that US didn't really want to support Philippians militarily.

During the last China-PH crash, the U$ Navy move away from the crash area at full speed at the same time, a strong indication that the U$ will keep its hands clean. But add fuel from behind. Just like Youkrain drama.

The West could have maintained influence in the Indo-Pacific had they not abandoned this part of the world the moment their colonial control in the region collapsed. But the nations of Indo-China have rebuilt themselves entirely off their own backs often with opposition from the West through punitive sanctions, economic and political interference and sponsorship of internal instability. We have given this part of the world very little reason to trust us and with us coming back to them now essentially with our caps in our hands begging them to partner with us again, let's just say it doesn't make us look strong, it doesn't make us look dependable. Japan and South Korea cannot help us police the Indo-Pacific region as they also do not have strong relationships with most of Indo-China and Central Asia, being largely viewed as Western puppets by many nations in the region. And Australia and New Zealand are Western countries. Containing the Russo-China relationship requires the committed assistance of all the nations that border these superpowers and we do not have an effective partnership with most of these countries nor do we have a reliable pathway to build these partnerships. They do not trust us and we have not yet given them compelling reasons that they should. Threatening countries is not an effective way to get them to do what you want.
