Unfortunately I know this cemetery in Kharkiv too well, as we always go to pay our respects every time we pass through on volunteer aid runs. I have watched it grow from a single plot to a double plot and just a sea of flags of all the warriors at rest there. I spent an hour with an old couple there once, visiting the grave of their son, they invited us to have a drink and join them to pay respects and we all shed some tears. For Victoria, my prayers are with you and your sons, they are heroes and will never be forgotten by the rest of us. I am English and respect that Ukrainians are giving lives to save not only their country, but they are acting as a shield for Europe. Please continue helping and donating to Ukraine so the deaths of warriors like Victoria's sons are not in vain. Slava Ukraini!🙏🙏

One of my ukrainion friend told me over 7 hundred thousand to 1 million died already. Between 30 to 50 years old person would not find in ukraine now. Thery are kidnapping from the street and given gun and some bullet and send in frontline. Many of them have survival rate is 20 hrs. This is horrible..... Ukraine dosen't exist any more after the war NATO and its ally will be in big trouble. Russians growing power day by day with the entire global south.

Based on 155mm. 152mm ammunition used, 105mm tank ammunition, Snipers, drone operators, glide bombs, rockets, millions of mines, it would seem to be UA 1.0 mil casualties vs Rus 0.2 mil casualties. The reports say the weapons deployed has accuracy of 5 metres. Google search tell us of experience in ww2. "Once hit high explosive ammo, you see a PINK MIST, soldiers nearby can be blown 20 metres away, with severe injuries". Sniper kills are more humane, skull crack open, limbs blown away and excruciating painful stomach wounds. Those Armour piercing round leave little remains. 🥺

I never understood this obsession with “grieving” the dead at a grave. It’s a lifeless body. You can’t talk to it, it does nothing for you. Risking your life to retrieve a lifeless body is a waste of a life.

He might have felt better off being in the Ukraine landscape than buried in the military cemetary imo... his body is already "buried" at rest there where he fell. In the military cemetary he will be in the service forever as a military marker post , like permanent military ....One time I looked out at Arlington Cemetery when i was in the military and I almost shed tears , i knew some stuff about them nobody did and maybe i shouldn't say but i felt so sorry for them being stuck in the service forever like that atleast a few were ....EDIT: I'm sure he would have wanted whichever gives his mom some closure though...
