What can you do with 100 Euros at the biggest beer festival in the world? After all, the Munich Oktoberfest isn't exactly cheap! DW's Aisha Sharipzhan compiled a long list of must-dos: drinking beer, eating a pretzel and roast chicken and going for a spin on the ferris wheel are just a few of them.
Can she tick off all the things on her wish list on a budget of 100 Euros?
Take a look and find out!

I am from Munich and go to Oktoberfest every year several times. I love the atmosphere there, it's like entering another world everytime you go there. I love seeing everybody using the tradional clothes, the music, the smell of the foods, see the crazy rides, make friends,... Unfortunately it's very overcrowded sometimes but apart from that it's really a great event.

It should be set up on a larger space if it's over crowded, we don't want another Duisburg accident which means Oktoberfest will be shut down. On the other hand, shutting it down doesn't seem that bad when you see foreigners hijacking your own traditional regional event. Sorry

btw the difference is, you went alone (without animating friends) and had a plan and did not get drunk as fuck. When I were younger i would spend like 200 for a day or more. know as an adult not anymore. btw. the reporter looks sexy. Love here smile. greets from germany

There's a big issue with everyone wanting euros and not many accepting cards at Oktoberfest. It was frustrating.

Nah it‘s tradition. We use Cash and Cash only on Oktoberfest. That‘s why there are dozens of bank-automats all over the area:)

Today I spent only 23😊 7 storage place for my backpack. 5.5 souvenir mini beer mug. 6.5 Bavarian sausage with bread. 4 entrance to the historical area. I'm not drinking alcohol. So I was more interested in national costumes, music and dances😅

this is an absolutely bullshit event, I took part in 2012 and already then they charged 10 euro for a double glass of beer, plus they charge also entrance fee into those beer huts, plus entrance on terrace was additional 10 euro, the toilet cost 5 euro - imagine that when you drink beer, it's literally golden showers, I remember I spent 100 euros just by crossing the place, I had one sausage, a pretzel, and two beers, plus there is a lot of drunk people, police, urine smell, etc, I recommend you take your 100 euro and make yourself a beerfest at your weekend house for one week

@@mememachine4766 see. If they call it Septemberfest they will catch the cold days (2 weeks) and then start octuber with oktoberfest, it will be plus 2 weeks of party, total 1 month of party
