Man In all my years of watching the Hall of Fame, Dwayne Wade has is the first player i've seen speak so selflessly by talking about someone who inspired him so much like Iverson did and take the opportunity to end his speech the way he started it by bringing his dad up on stage was a beautiful thing to see.. It shows how important it is to have a father figure in one's life, and I swear the whole time I kept thinking it was Randy Moss..

Simply you have to write some of those things because you would forget something, you definitely won't mention anyone that you like at that stage in that moment if you weren't prepared. You have to understand that it's not easy even to write all those things that Wade mentioned at this soeech. And if this speech isn't natural, than 95% of the speeches aren't natural. Tim Duncan's speech wasn't natural, Kobe's speeches weren't natural, Bosh's, Garnett's. None of those speeches were natural if we go in that way. And btw, even if Wade wrote all of that, he wrote that from heart😂

Wow! D Wade got tears of me. What a speech; in quality, sequence, and organization. A speech full of connection and relationship. A speech that recognizes mentors, colleagues, friends, fans, coaches and front office controllers. A speech that set special space at the admirable sequence for the family members; sisters, children, the wife, the mother and the responsible father. 😢😢😢😢 one of these most emotionally ceremony ever to hear him vocally speak about his mother and just seeing talk about his pop man made me cry like no other, yes it’s coming from a place that I know longer have a my mother and father and stepfather it’s a pain I can’t ever explain. Magnificent
