Johnny maybe was successful but not a Cary Grant, not close, that’s who she married after Grant chasing her . Most men I think realize a smart, beautiful woman and react as Johnny did, she also mentioned she didn’t date/ live with anyone for quite a while. Wonder why? I guess she wasn’t a club 54 type!?

Imagine listening to that piercing cackling for several years. It would become very grating. Then again, she was married to Cary Grant for only three years, and husband number two for less than six.
@spuwho Жыл бұрын
@@alanhigh8125 Read her book "Dear Carey" and you will see it wasn't the laughing that broke that marriage up, it was Grant's inability to adjust himself. Michal Douglas is lasting with Catherine Zeta-Jones because he is willing to adjust his ways in his senior years on behalf of the relationship, Carey wanted no part of that and punished her. Grant and Cannon should have never gotten married. She married for an iconic dream, he married for some older year action. It was Sinatra and Farrow all over again.

Anyone who watches a lot of Johnny will know it was not a setup. In fact, he *never* discussed his date life (only his divorce life) on the show.
