I’m a cosmetologist and I have been dying my own hair black for year. it will turn the water blue for the first 3-4 washes. Don’t worry if the water doesn’t run clear, just make sure you get the dye off thoroughly. I typically shampoo twice on dye day: once to get the dye off, once to clean the scalp for a good 60 seconds minimum each time. And next time, use gloves!!! 😂😊.But you look great! I love the black on you!

I do the bowl method a trick is to not put to Much hair product in because when you scrunch it out and all the produc goes back in to the bowl and then another thing is to not put it in a towel because it takes away the curls so after you do the bowl like 5 times I would recommend diffusing it with cold air or just air drying it and when you air dry it scrunch it every once in a while. Oh and also keep a little bit of of your conditioner in from the shower so definitely keep your shower before .Hope it helps! ❤

Well you look so good in that black or blue black hair. Plus I like that your hair is layered and you know how to style it that’s how I would do it so I don’t blow dry and I just let it dry naturally I feel like I should get another layer cut because my hair was not cut properly because the guy that did it didn’t know what he was doing.
