To simplify same kind of result, I just use the canvas cloth that painters use to protect the floor. I dip in plaster of paris & use staple gun to attach canvas on the back. Brush 2-3 coats of plaster of paris , dry it, paint it & done.

Would be easier and less wasteful with glue to dip the gauze in glue/water mix and then apply. Or use plaster bandage.

Did i ask you what size canvas yyou used , in " please and Thank you . Ths video has shown so much more tthhan others . It is very much appreciated for you to share your technique and every step of the process you are appreciate you and thank you and I can't wait to see the end result if you choose to color it or something other then white I know it's gonna be beautiful.

Are you Tacking the ends under so they're not rough? I've tried this technique once it's not finish . That I wanna go bigger like an 18" by 24" may I ask what size canvas youquestion mark thank you can't wait to see what color you paint it. Love how you show using such a big piece of mask with the exactly what I have not knowing how much to cut for the canvas and your video really helperiod thanks for sharing.

the ends of the mesh are sticked to the back of the canvas. the canvas is 50x70cm

hello, it’s possible to do an extension on the back frame, but I keep it on the furniture, not hanged on the wall.😊

Hi! For how long do you let it dry between the gauze and glue and the plaster? And also do you use several layers of plaster or just one

hello. as soon as I place the gauze on the mesh I add the wood glue and after that the joint compound. you don’t need to wait between those layers. and for a smooth aspect I add 2 layers of joint compound. it takes aprox. 24h for one layer to dry ☺️

@@samanthavanderveen8437 Joint compound is the mud used to finish drywall (sheetrock) joints. It is available at any big box store that sells building materials. There are several types that have different drying properties / times. It is easy to get a slick finish and is very easy to sand.

Yes the gauze is cheaper than plater bandages and has the same effect
