Fetus has always had the most simplistic yet brutal break downs I have ever heard. No matter who the members have been or will be as long as John is around the stuff is so brutal.

I think they used an Ampeg 140 head.

That's exactly what he used. You can also get an amptweaker tight metal pro pedal. It's the same circuit and you don't need to spend a grand on a head. The cabs were most likely a standard or oversized Mesa. Only pedal I've seen him use is the Ibanez TS9.

It's considered a Bass Guitar, but when using single words it's only called "Bass".. Hope that helps
