You unlock this cool easter egg by finding 15 unknown strange rocks scattered around in Dying Light: The Following.
Once you collect them all, and place them in a weird drawing inside a house, you will start the X-Files Theme begins to play easter egg event.

Okay so he did miss alot of paintjobs but at 8:55 he grapples onto a water tower, if you go to the top of it you can get inside and theres what had to be the coolest paintjob in the game

Word of advice to anyone doing this: turn of your night hunter invasion before doing this, I was forced to take on a night hunter with nothing but my fists, my buggy with out any uv lights, and 16 zaid’s flares

Great job showing the exact location of the rocks usually people just walk to the place where the item is and assume you already know where it's at so that's a sub and a like!

Tip: if you doing it with a squad follow the tutorial and when you placed all the stones at night, it won’t work so you have to wait 1 minute or 30 seconds then it will work

In the 4th one if you haven’t finished the volatile nest before getting the rock just to let you know camouflage works in volatiles

Actually it should've sent a gold variant of it to your storage I have both the guns. You just use the agg to craft another one later

I have a question my husband accidentally sold my gun. How can i get it back without crafting or going to harran. It really annoys me i havent even got the chance to use it. When i followed it 2nd time with other players the rock in the Dam was not there (note: he hasnt done drought and power to the people, migt be the cause coz no water is pouring) or if i go back to the house i can use it or is it possible to get them again solo

This reminds me of the wickerman challenge from Hitman 2016 having to shoot 4 bells way off in the distance of the Colorado farm fields. I think you had to do it in 1 specific sequence too.. Dont know if id want to know how long this took to figure out all 15 spots for these fucking rocks! Sweet reward though!

You do this quest on The Following DLC; on the main story there is two unknown rocks in Old Town that you place on a skull to get the "Right hand of gloVA" blueprint. You need to play the "Do you believe" quest beforehand.

This easter egg can only be done on Normal or Hard difficulty. It cannot be done on Nightmare difficulty.

Its behind the fence in the same location but its in an unplayable area so you cant reach it , go there in the night and you can see it glowing and if you try to jump over the fence the game will return you to the nearest hunting tower

Fleischtomate ok. That sucks, but thanks for the clarification. Anything else critical when doing this quest? Will it reset if we die while trying to complete, or if we pause by hitting escape once (not quitting, but pausing for sure)? Do we need to complete this in one day game time wise?
