One of the biggest questions that many people are asking is how to fix the problems in this world? But what many don't realize is that they are not asking a very important question that they should ask first: How did our world become the way that it is? Man wants the cure but does not want to know the real cause. But until we find out the real cause, in vain will we seek to find a real cure.

Lightning Whip thank you for your answer I will try doing this, I try to love Jesus but I’m confused by how to be saved, sins are forgiven by grace (by trusting Jesus) I trusted him, but found out that we need to love him above all else to be saved, I do agree he deserves to be loved above all else and try to do it, but I simply don’t get there, I believe even if I forsake all my Idols (the work that I love, my family, etc) I would still not love him above all else and also this thing with Idol forsaking is also confusing to me, Tim Conway seems to say that if there is something that you love more than Christ in your life you have to forsake it for ever, while Tim Keller in his book about Idolatry called “Counterfeit Gods” say that you need to love Jesus above all else not stop loving the good thing (like work, family, etc) that you’ve turned into an Idol, my question is who is right? The one that tells you to forsake the Idol (even if it was a good thing) for the rest of your life, or the other that tells you to substitute the Idol for Christ and keep loving your work, famiky, etc but now without Idolatry?

Levi Ackerman loving Jesus the correct way IS being saved my friend. You can love other things, but, you have to know their place, keep a distance between everything that comes into contact with you. You can love your family but if you start over thinking about them, or your workplace, or friends above what Jesus has done for you, then you are stepping into an area that will blind you from seeing the reality of Gods presence and love and me being a Christian for almost 9 month, I’m just now starting to have more of an awareness of His presence and love and I always have to remind myself that life is short and I’m only 25, just turned 25 a couple days ago. I hope all this helps you out!

@@leviackerman6678 I think you are worrying about it to much. Accept by faith that he forgave your sins and that you have eternal life. Trust God that in some way he will tell you if you are doing something wrong. Also you should get baptised in water, Jesus was baptised. Pray a seek his guidance.

Dear brothers and sisters i greet you in our Lord Jesus Christ Three years ago, I began to engage in faith. I started here in Croatia in the catholic church to visit mass and to read The Holy Scriptures. Very early on, I noticed that what is taught and practiced in the catholic church contradicts the Holy Scriptures and what Jesus taught us. In addition, some things in the Holy Bible were unclear to me and raised additional questions and doubts, such as: - If our God is the God of love and justice, why are we punished for the sins of Adam? Doesn't that contradict the principles of love and justice? An earthly father who is full of faults and weaknesses would not do such a thing, then how can we think such a thing about our Perfect Father? - How can a loving father throw his child forever in the hell? That also contradicts these principles. And besides, in 1 Timothy 2; 3 + 4: "For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth." So, if this were really so, that in spite of His will, people will be brought forever to hell and not saved, this would mean that He can not enforce His will and thus He is not the omnipotent God, if we follow these doctrines believe. - Why does it say in some passages that Jesus is the Son of God, in others the Son of Man and in others that He and God are one? Although I kept going to the Catholic Mass, at home I no longer practiced the prayers of the catholic church, but started talking like a child to my Father (Matthew 6: 7 + 8 ). After a short while, I got the answer to everything. He guided me through a friend of my mother to the revelations of Bertha Dudde. Now I know that the Bible does not contradict itself. God can not contradict himself. The truth is not in the word, in the letter, but in the understanding, in the interpretation of it. Now I know that Jesus is God and our Father in heaven, and I understand all the processes and contexts, and through this I have come to know that He is the perfect Love and not the strict, punitive God. As he promised us in John 14; 21: "He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. " 16; 12 + 13: "I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. " 16; 25: "These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father. " In the revelations of Bertha Dudde, His promise was fulfilled, just as every other of His promises was and will be fulfilled, for He never quits (Titus 1: 2) because His word is truth (John 17; 17) and all that will happen is what He said has (Hebrews 10; 23, Ezekiel 12; 25:28, etc.) My loved brothers and sisters, I ask you not to blindly believe me, but as written in 1 Thessalonians chapter 5 verses 19-21: " Quench not the Spirit. Despise not prophesyings. Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. " Before you begin to look, go into prayer and ask our Father Jesus Christ for enlightenment to put you in your heart, whether that's really His word or not. Do not read with your mind or knowledge, but with your heart, for knowledge (knowledge, understanding) puffeth up, love (heart) edifieth (1 Corinthians 8: 1), for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life (2 Corinthians 3: 6). kzfaq.info/get/bejne/iKx7Zc6Ym7fXYIE.html My dear brothers and sisters, the situation in Christianity is alarming, frightening and very sad and for that very reason the end is near, the time is up. Only in a very small part are the fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5; 22) recognizable, and thus only a very few truly belong to Christ, for only those who enjoy the fruits and grow in them are of his (Romans 8: 9). "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…" Hosea 4; 6 I wish you a blessed day my beloved brothers and sisters, May the Love of our Lord Jesus Christ shine through your heart and lead you into the truth.

Christians, please pray against “wolves” in the streets. Men as “wolves” with guns who prowl to kill. Do not ignore this. It is the nature of sin (murder) or any sin which works death in a person, to become exceedingly sinful. “But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.” Romans 7:13 KJV Essentially, it is nature of sin to get very bad/exceedingly sinful/sinful beyond one can anticipate.

Maybe a death sentence instead of immediate death? Maybe they started to earn the wages of sin, after they knew good from evil, their evil then started earning them death Maybe their sin brought the introduction of time, aging their bodies. I imagine that when their skin started to wrinkle & hairs started to turn grey, they noticed a clock had started counting down. Eve could have injured herself and witnessed a cut leave her w/a scar for the 1st time.

Tim Conway: “”You know one of the things that the missionaries over in Turkey told me is that You see these nominal Muslims. Turkey is vastly populated by nominal Muslims, very ffew of them are radical. And what the missionaries over there pointed out is you know most Muslims get serious about religion when they are old, you think about why that would be. You know why it is? Their conscious is telling them something is wrong, now they maybe deceived about who the real god is, and who the real prophet is, but the fact is they have a conscious that’s telling them “you are in trouble”, and now when they get older they make sure they go to prayer all the time , man never think to go there””, Let me say something to those who want to be saved TRULY. Tim Conway perfectly aware as a pastor of a Christian Genocide committed against mostly Armenians says something like this. If you want to go to HEAVEN that is not your pastor and post it everywhere and to the knowledge of his followers tell them that the historical fact is acknowledged and recognized by 50 states as far as US politics is concerned. Sorry for all those who were not saved truly following this politician. The Gate is narrow indeed.

Brother Tim, it's Your Lil Bro slave chris from IL..; "up north, there"!) Grace, Peace, n LOVE in Our HOLY KING. You said all calamity is due to sin. In the context of "GOD Strikes men as a direct consequence"; rather than, a general consequence of the fall. Certainly, YHWH Does Strike men in HIS Righteous n Holy Wrath. HE also Chastises HIS Children, of course. But i am a handicap/paralyzed Vet, and i am wondering if you really hold to every calamity being from that person's heinous sin. And, just to get it out of the way, You Know We are completely Monergistic, Calvinistic, and Reformed. while i am of the Puritan type/tradition, i prefer to keep it "slave of The HOLY CHRIST". However, given the subject i felt the need to make it clear We are in agreement on GOD'S Sovereignty, over all at that. i appreciate Your response from Holy Scripture showing this. It will greatly edify. Thanks be to GOD Working n Willing in Ya, Big Bro. May HE Bless Your Family!!!†!!!

Re: 10:12 and following ― I beg to differ, Pastor Tim; orthography’s fine. I’d rather handle seven binyanim multiplied by two main aspects than so many verbal paradigms in Greek! It’s one of two reasons why I’m stronger in Hebrew than I am Greek (the other being that I spent more time pottering around in Hebrew than Greek due to the latter’s verbal paradigms being too much for me). And that “Hebrew rendering” of Genesis 2:17b was more of distilling it down to some key words. If I might, a real rendering would be more like “in the day you ate of it, death (or ‘die’) you (shall) die”. (Fine, you used YLT later ― I did that without listening to that.)

Seraphine Holethysia Much of what God says in the Old Testament (Tanakh) is spoken/written in past-tense terminology, as though it had already happened, though it was yet to come. Whether by Hebraic writing convention, or because when God says it, you can see it as already completed.

A FOOL FOR CHRIST I could pursue a life of fun and ease, With riches, games, and other things that please. The hardships of my path I could evade And follow steps my Lord has never laid; But leaving all my hopes and dreams behind, I trust that greater riches I shall find. I glory in my weakness and my pain For earthly loss will bring eternal gain. I could pursue acceptance from all men And fear the grave, the stake, the lion’s den. I could pursue a well-known, honoured name And seek approval, praise, and earthly fame. I choose instead affliction with my Lord, Esteeming His reproach as my reward. I glory in my weakness and my pain For earthly loss will bring eternal gain. To live for Christ is foolish to the world But when the sinners into hell are hurled, And fools for Christ have not a single fear, Then who was truly foolish will be clear. Without exception every man’s a fool I choose for Christ, and bear the ridicule. I glory in my weakness and my pain For earthly loss will bring eternal gain. By Ezra Brainard

What is death? What is destruction? Yes, death is coming. What is it to be "wiped out?" For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes on him should not PERISH, but have life everlasting. For the wages of sin is DEATH, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. "Perish" in the Greek used there is 'apollumi.' This means utter destruction. "Death" used in that famous verse in Romans is the Greek word 'thanatos.' This means DEATH, to be dead. Jesus said to fear him who can destroy both body AND SOUL in Gehenna. He often spoke of dead branches being gathered together and burned up in the fire. Do stcks keep burning after they have been burned up? For some reason you disabled comments on your talk about eternal conscious torment. Why is that? The human does not exist as an immortal soul. God put life into him by breathing the breath of life into his nostrils, and he BECAME a living "nephesh" (in Hebrew). This is identical to the word used to describe the fish, the beasts, the creeping things, etc. The "soul" is who we are, as living beings. This is scriptural, straight out of Genesis. Greeks and pagans believed in a "soul" that would continue to exist after the body died. Pre-Nicene writers lifted this "immortal soul" concept straight from Plato, who they loved, being educated in Greek philosophy before they "converted" to the truth of Jesus. Paul says very bluntly that "this mortal must PUT ON immortality," when we are resurrected, but only if we are resurrected in Christ. Nonbelievers are not described as being resurrected to immortality. Yes, death is eternal. Why? Because it will never be rescinded. Dead is dead, forever, after the judgment. I recommend a study of the poor understanding of the word 'aionios,' the biblical Greek word often translated as "forever." This is a poor translation. It refers to an "age." Often used to denote the NEXT age, an adjective used to describe the nature of the world to come, the non-temporal realm to follow this one. There will be no more TIME in the age to come, as God created time for man to exist within, for seasons, for signs (lunar phases, weeks, years), but this will all cease in the ETERNAL age to come. Beyond this world, where we are bound in time, and we grow old. Hell is either Gehenna, the "eternal" fire into which the dead branches are consumed, and will not be quenched in mid-destruction, until its purpose of total destruction has been completed, or it is Hades (the grave), as it has been translated into the English. These are gross mistranslations. You quoted Jude, saying Sodom was destroyed as a lesson to us. Very true. It says Sodom was destroyed with ETERNAL fire. Is it still burning? Or did it not accomplish its purpose, being unquenchable, unstoppable by man, until everything was utterly destroyed? Likewise, Jonah used the word "eternal" to describe the nature of his fate, being covered by the deep, in the belly of the whale. Three days is clearly not eternity. The eternal fire which destroyed Sodom is not still burning. This interpretation of "hell," which is neither Greek nor Hebrew, is an innovation of the Catholic church, championed by Augustine (5th century), and DANTE (12th century). Are we catholic? Why do we adhere to catholic doctrine which was shot through with Greek and pagan practice and belief? And yet the evangelical "protestant" church brought these non-scriptural beliefs with them. My response is to the speaker, but it is FOR those believers who are concerned with how just or righteous it is to horribly torment most humans in actual fire, forever and ever. It is neither just, nor righteous. And it IS a slander of the greatest magnitude against the nature if the Most High God, regardless of what this speaker says. He is only repeating centuries of false doctrine, handed down from the wicked catholic church to the protestant church, taught in seminaries, regurgitated for generation upon deceived generation. Yes there will be wrath, and punishment, death, destruction, YES it will occur in the "eternal" age to come. No, the unrighteous are not gifted with immortality. Death is final, body and soul can be utterly destroyed, according to Jesus. Sorry this is so long. PS, the parable of the rich man and Lazarus is NOT a depiction of reality. It is a PARABLE, a metaphor intended to teach a specific lesson, which was to the pharisees, that "even if someone comes back from the dead, they would not believe him," if the words of Moses and the prophets did not convince them. There has never been a "bosom of Abraham" mentioned as a name for heaven. Only in this parable, one time, in the entire Bible. Is Abraham God? Is Abraham our mediator, sitting at the right hand of God?
