Shipping has been my biggest hurdle to starting online. So far selling local, but when shipping is figured out, I can start that route. I make scented soy candles, currently. Thank you for the tips on raising prices, if even temporarily, when sales get too out of hand. All of your tips have been huge actually. Thank you!

I literally live right next door to Post Office that isn't busy compared to other location. I can just throw them in my shopping cart and rolled them over for drop off. Boom. Done. Wash..rinse and repeat. Easy peazy. Doing the math of 30k divided by unit cost sold and 1 percent conversion of the traffic you have. Generate email list you own instead of the platform should you have other offers you want to promote. You can then run a limited offer sale..(using scarcity method)

Umm, not everyone happens to live next door to a non-busy post office. Also, you have to keep within Etsy's Terms of Service when it comes to emailing customers or potential customer of your Etsy shop. They're not your customer to email freely, the customer can opt-in to giving Etsy permission to send them email, but Etsy sellers don't automatically have that same permission to email or send unsolicited messages. I have read that there is an email integration with Aweber that you can connect to your shop that will send each customer one email when an order is placed, and will ask if they want to sign-up to your email list. The opt-in wording has to be very clear that it is for marketing purposes.

Are you using the Etsy Seller app or the website? Personally, I find it easier to add photos and set up the listing from the app and then go into the new app (blue icon) or the website and upload videos. ☺️
