I’m from a low income family and lucky for me Stanford will cover my tuition! The only thing I’m concerned about is actually getting excepted into Stanford, I’m a homeschool kid I never won a state Science fair and I’m not a musical prodigy, so I feel like my chances of getting in are pretty low, how difficult was it for you?

You do not need to win a science fair or be a musical prodigy to get into Stanford. I recommend watching my other videos on college applications to strengthen your chances!

Hi Dyllen! Love your crispy videos! I am an international student from India and will be applying to Stanford REA this month. My annual family income is around $20,000 but I am a very academically bright student and also play a sport at a national and international level. I wanted to know given my circumstance, will Stanford give me 100% (or more) need-based aid? Thank you so much !!!

Hi! I can’t necessarily say how much need they will give you. For international students, they are need-aware in admission so it is a bit harder to get financial aid. Perhaps try researching more online or calling the financial aid office :)

Actually it does not. For international students financial aid is need-aware. I don’t know too much information about this but you can probably find more on Stanford’s website!

My mom makes a very good amount of money, around $190,000 and is the total family income. However, she is deeply in debt and pays a lot in bills and taxes. How can I get financial aid?

I am not entirely sure how it works in this case but they do try to evaluate what is reported on your tax forms. I recommend calling the school for specific questions like this.

You're supposed to fill in the CSS profile as an international student or the FAFSA I believe if you're a citizen. These things are part of the application and are definitely considered. In fact, parents with annual incomes of above $300,000 can also get significant aid if they show that their expenses (in paying off debts and otherwise) are very high.

@@DyllenNellis I'm an indian student. And I'm so sorry but I do not really have an idea on how I should prepare and secure any graduate level course. Can I do masters after 3 year of bachelor's degree. I'm a zoology student and I'm really keen in interdisciplinary subjects.
